Yes, that quote have an equivalent to in Christianity. I believe that Christianity have the same ideal of "mysterious things" being the entrance into a world of great and marvelous things. Like Christianity, this Taoist quote seems to portray what we cannot attain. There are other parts of the Tao Teh Ching reminds me of Christian ideals which is that Tao’s understanding of a difference in "heaven" and "earth."
